We’re hiring a Campaign Field & Operations Intern to join our team. This is a paid, hands-on internship where you’ll work on a real political campaign knocking on doors, managing data, helping run events, and building the grassroots energy that wins elections.
It’s a great fit if you’re a college student or recent grad interested in politics, public service, organizing, or communications. You’ll get real experience across every part of a modern campaign.
What You’ll Do
- Grassroots organizing: Knock doors, make phone calls, and talk with voters in the community.
- Event support: Help plan and run meet-and-greets, rallies, and other campaign events.
- Fundraisers: Help set up, run, and clean up fundraising events.
- Signs & visibility: Distribute lawn signs, banners, and campaign materials around the district.
- Data entry: Keep voter and volunteer info up to date in our campaign databases.
- Coalition outreach: Coordinate with allied campaigns and community partners.
- Volunteer support: Help recruit, train, and manage volunteers for events and field work.
- Communications: Help with outreach materials, scripts, social media, and messaging.
- General operations: Pitch in with day-to-day campaign tasks across the team.
What We’re Looking For
- An interest in politics, civic engagement, or public service.
- Strong people skills. A.K.A. – You’re comfortable talking to strangers.
- Able to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
- Comfortable with basic computer tools (spreadsheets are a plus).
- Open to some evening and weekend hours.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
- No campaign experience needed; we care most about your enthusiasm and work ethic.
