Remington & Vernick Engineers (RVE) is a full-service engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions for municipalities, schools, and private clients. Our internship program is designed to give students hands-on experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and exposure to a wide variety of engineering projects.
Position Summary
We are seeking motivated Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental Interns to join our team for Summer 2026. Interns will work under the guidance of professional engineers and gain practical experience in civil engineering design, project management, and fieldwork.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and technical documents
Support design efforts for site development, roadway, stormwater, water/wastewater, and municipal projects
Conduct fieldwork including site visits, data collection, and construction observation
Perform calculations and review design standards under the supervision of licensed engineers
Collaborate with project teams to solve real-world engineering challenges
Gain exposure to software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications
Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Strong academic record and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred, but not required
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for potential site visits)
