As an Internal Audit Intern, you will develop financial and operational analytics of key financial processes at corporate and remote STERIS locations. Your work will identify and address risks that matter to the organization. · Paid Internship
· Part Time or full-time opportunity based on your availability, with a minimum of 20 hours per week if part-time, or 40 hours per week if full-time.
· Location – This will be a blended onsite and work from home opportunity.
What will you do as an Internal Audit Intern?
Under the guidance and supervision of experienced STERIS Internal Auditors, duties and responsibilities include:
· Assist the Internal Audit department in development of financial and operational analytics.
· Observe and reperform inventory counts at STERIS locations
· Interface with STERIS management to follow up on questions arising during development of analytics
· Analyze audit evidence and prepare conclusions through analytics for review by Internal Audit management
· Address reviewer comments and questions arising from analytics peer review
What Skills, Experience and Education will you need?
· Currently enrolled in a four-year undergraduate degree program or a master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Internal Audit, Information Technology or other quantitative fields of study and completed sophomore year
· Minimum of 20 hours/week availability
· Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
· Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
