Class of 2026
Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Economics
A bit about me: I am involved with Fraternity and Sorority Life, Psychology Peer Mentors Program, Psi Chi, SMAC, and Club Soccer. As I’m heading into my senior year, figuring out what I want to do after graduation has been on my mind a lot; start working right away or apply to grad school? This summer, I’m interning at Modera Wealth Management to get some real-world experience in an office setting. Hopefully, this will help me figure out what I want my life to look like after college. Along the way, Gateway has been a huge help in guiding me through this decision-making process. I’ve done two externships, polished my resume during document review days, and spent time preparing for interviews with my Gateway Counselor. All of this support has made me feel more confident as I explore what comes next.
Advice: Don’t be shy about reaching out to Lafayette alumni and setting up coffee chats! One of the best things about Lafayette being a smaller school is the tight-knit community it creates. The alumni really feel that connection too, and in my experience, they’re always happy to offer advice and help out with your job search in any way they can.

Iris Radin
Gateway Peer Advisor & Gateway Ambassador

Class of 2028
Bachelor of Arts, Psychology and Economics; Organizational Studies minor
A bit about me: In addition to being a Gateway Ambassador and Gateway Peer Advisor, I am also a student worker in the Office of Inclusion, a tour guide with Lafayette Admissions, and a Co-Director of one of the service camps in the Pre-Orientation Service Program (POSP). I also run with the Running Club. My career goals, although not narrowed down, will most likely consist of Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, recruitment, or management.
Advice: The biggest thing I would advise my peers to do in career development is to take the big risks. Even if you don’t think you are going to get the position or be qualified, there is no harm in applying and finding out. I highly encourage being absolutely fearless, shameless, and open to rejection, because that is how big things happen!

Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering; Biotechnology, Bioengineering minor
A bit about me: On campus, I am a member of the EMS Club and the Society of Women Engineers. I also conduct research within the Mechanical Engineering Department as a Clare Boothe Luce scholar. Looking ahead, I’m interested in pursuing a master’s degree abroad and exploring careers in bioengineering management that will enable me to address global health challenges at the interface of mechanical engineering and health science. My career path has been nonlinear – before switching to engineering, I was a neuroscience major and pursued two internships in psychiatry. Through Gateway, I did an externship with an internal medicine physician at the University of Pennsylvania, and took part in two of Gateway’s Career Tracks programs, both of which gave me invaluable exposure to diverse industries.
Advice: Your career journey doesn’t have to follow a straight line either. I’m also passionate about teaching and peer tutoring, and had the opportunity to tutor an Easton Area Middle School student in the fall. Liza Sosedko
Gateway Ambassador

Class of 2028
Bachelor of Arts, Environmental Studies and Biology
A bit about me: I’m still adjusting to campus, but I am very interested in hospitality, international relations, psychology, and event planning; anything that brings people together and enhances the experiences. I like the idea of working with individuals, hearing their narratives, and producing events that make an impact.
I am not currently involved in clubs on campus, however I can’t wait dig deeper and discover where I can make an impact and grow. What I would like to do is create a career that integrates my interests in international projects and communication with different people around the world.
If I were to pass on any message to students, it would be to do everything you can. Do different things, take up jobs or roles that interest you even if you are uncertain about them as of now. With every new experience, you learn what you’re passionate about, and that’s how you will discover the path that is best for you.

I hope to continue this research and assist the Sigal Museum in creating a related exhibit for the bicentennial. My advice for Lafayette students is to try new things, such as new clubs, to meet new people, and to take advantage of all the resources both on campus and beyond, in Easton.
