>> My name is Chris Geimer, and I am a graphic designer. I am a designer who works with businesses to communicate their goals, their products, their services to their target market through visual communications primarily in print media. Typical day I like to get up early when it's still quiet. I work out of a home office so I can get a lot done before everyone else is up. I don't really work 9 to 5. So I'll get some stuff done. If I have meetings during the day I'll work around those. But primarily I'm on my computer a good deal of the time throughout the day. And sometimes the day goes into the night. Sometimes I can finish early. It's when you're self-employed you have that flexibility. I don't travel, no, because all my files travel for me. I have clients on the east coast, on the west coast and the Midwest. And generally I may go to a trade show once in a while or go to meetings with a client, but primarily it's the work that gets sent around, not me.
