The Career Closet: The Career Closet is a unique initiative designed to support students in their pursuit of professional success. We recognize that building a professional wardrobe can be costly, and not all students have access to the resources they need. Our Career Closet offers a wide range of professional attire, including shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, blazers, belts, ties, and shoes. Whether you need an outfit for an interview, a career fair, or an important networking event, our Career Closet is here to help.
How It Works:
- Visit our Career Closet, located in the Career Center. Browse through our collection of high-quality, gently-used professional attire in various styles and sizes.
- Select the items that fit your style and try them on in one of our private rooms. Our staff is available to provide advice and help you find the perfect ensemble.
- Once you’ve found your ideal outfit, use it for the occasion at no cost. We believe that every student should have the opportunity to dress their best without financial barriers. After your event, KEEP the items to use again!
Professional Photo Studio for LinkedIn Headshots: A great LinkedIn profile picture is an essential part of building your professional brand. It’s the first visual impression potential networking contacts, employers, or recruiters will have of you, so it’s crucial to present yourself in the best light. Our Professional Photo Studio is equipped with modern photography equipment, expert lighting, and a professional backdrop to help you capture a headshot that exudes professionalism and confidence.
- The Professional Photo Studio is located within the Career Center, making it easy for you to schedule a session between classes or during a break.
- We believe that access to professional headshots shouldn’t break the bank or be intimidating. Our photo studio is a free, self-service resource that is available to use Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm, by appointment.
