Welcome to the Exploring Community! Whether you have an idea of what you’d like to explore or aren’t sure where to begin with the exploration process, the Gateway Career Center and your Gateway Counselor are here to support you with taking productive steps forward at a pace that’s comfortable for you. Scroll down to browse opportunities, resources, videos and alumni connections to help you explore and develop your career. Be sure to take advantage of opportunities to gain individualized support from your Gateway Career Counselor:

Individualized Career Counseling: Meet with your assigned Gateway Counselor to receive one-on-one guidance and support with your career exploration and decision-making processes. In addition, your Gateway Counselor will pair you up with resources that align best to your individual curiosities, interests, skills, and pace.

Career Assessment: Through the Gateway Career Center, you have access to career-focused assessments. These assessments are not required but rather are opportunities to explore utilizing these tools. Assessments focused on career interests, motivations, personality, and work values are available. Schedule a meeting with your Gateway Counselor to learn more about these career development tools.
