Engage With Our Students

Information Sessions, Presentations and Workshops: Increase your visibility and build your brand on campus and virtually. These sessions give you the opportunity to discuss your organization’s mission, values and career paths.  They are typically held during lunchtime or early afternoon/evening and can be offered in-person or virtually.  Employers are encouraged to bring giveaways and offer refreshments.

Meet and Greet or Drop-in Sessions: Visit campus to meet with students interested in your field or industry.  Offering Meet and Greet or drop-in sessions gives students a chance to learn more about your industry and gives you a chance to brand your organization.  Meet and Greet sessions allow you and your colleagues to interact with students in a casual networking session.  Drop-in sessions allow you to informally meet with students individually and/or review resumes and offer suggestions to students.  

Employers are encouraged to bring giveaways and offer refreshments.  If you are interested or want to know more, contact our office to be connected to a member of the Employer Relations team.

Information Tables: This is a great way for promoting your brand on campus.  They are set up in Farinon, our student center, over the noon hour.  You can request a table by filling out our Information Table Request form .

Recruit Our Students

Career Fairs: Lafayette hosts on-campus career fairs during the academic year.  We host fairs in the fall semester and also in the spring semester. Each of our fairs are well attended by students from a variety of majors and class levels. The Fall 2026 on-campus career fair will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. For your planning convenience, registration is now open for the fair!  Please register in Handshake. If you are not a Handshake employer, please email careers@lafayette.edu.

2026 Graduate School Open House: Save the date!  The 2026 Graduate School Open House is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, October 6, 2026.  We encourage Graduate Schools and Certificate Programs to sign up for future communications about this Open House. Here is the link to sign up.    

Interviews (Internship and/or Full Time): We know how sometimes reaching out to individual students to schedule interviews take time.  We are always here to help coordinate those interviews for you.  We offer the option of virtual or in-person, on-campus interviews.   Our Employer Relations team will be more than happy to help you with scheduling an interview date and arranging the interview schedule in our Handshake system.  If you would like to come to campus, visits include free parking, wireless access, and lunch. Dates are available in September-November and February-April, just contact the Career Center to be connected with one of our Employer Relations team.

Job Postings (Internships and/or Full Time):  Looking for talented students or alumni for your job or internship opportunities? Our Gateway Career Center job board, Handshake, is available to students who are seeking summer internships as well as entry-level positions upon graduation.  If you have a Handshake  account, just request access to post with Lafayette College or you can complete our job/internship form you will find under resources and we will post it for you. 

New to Handshake?  Our Employer Relations team would be happy to assist you with posting to our Handshake system.
