POSITION SUMMARY
The City of Pittsburgh’s Ethics Hearing Board is seeking an intern with communication, media and marketing skills to assist in developing and/or updating outreach and marketing communications (e.g., brochures, fact sheets, fliers, training videos, social media campaigns, etc.) that serve to educate and engage a diverse audience on ethics matters.
The intern selected will also have the opportunity to learn about general operating procedures, public service and the workings of City government.

- WORK EXPERIENCE: None required for this position.
- EDUCATION/TRAINING: Must be currently enrolled and taking classes in an accredited college or university undergraduate or graduate program; OR have graduated within the last twelve (12) months. Must have completed some coursework in communications, media studies, or marketing.
POSITION DUTIES
- Develops traditional print and digital communication, educational, marketing and training materials.
- Assists with overall strategic plans related to marketing, education and engagement to achieve departmental goals.
- Contributes to departmental goals by completing assigned tasks and projects.
- Coordinates work in conjunction with project timelines.
- May communicate with other governmental ethics organizations, performs research, creates and analyzes statistical data and develops reports.
- May provide general administrative support to staff.
- Performs such other related tasks and duties that are assigned or required.
